Our rides
Over many years,we have run a strong program of rides - generally at least 4 per week throughout the year. We aim to offer a variety of rides at times to suit as many riders as possible.
Tuesday easy rides are for people wanting a shorter ride
Thursday riders like to get in at least 50km of riding at a good pace.
Thursday easy riders might take a train to the city and
head off for Williamstown. Pace is more leisurely.
Half-mad members on Tuesday hard rides tackle serious hills on outings to
such places as Toolangi
Sunday rides for beginners and a separate ride for others are generally on the calendar all year
We also plan weekend stays in country towns to explore more territory.
We ride countryside, interstate and internationally : rides in South Australia, France, Thailand, Austria,Vietnam and New Zealand have been held in the last few years. Rides in Thailand, South Australia, Tatura were run in 2009. 2010 Will feature a ride in New South Wales and Northern Victoria.2011 we went to Austria, Italy and Croatia. Also to Flinders Island.
