Begin from the corner of Elgar & Whitehorse heading West

L @ Hood St

R @ Zetland Rd (If you're coming north up Elgar Rd Zetland runs through toElgar)

L @ High St (up the hill and down past Mont Albert Station)

CROSS Mont Albert Rd (carefully - but the trains help)

Beresford St becomes Montrose St and I CROSS Union Rd (there are a number ofroutes to follow through here)

Guildford, Croydon or Kingston to Chatham Rd

L @ Chatham

Merge R to Shierlaw

Get along North side of Canterbury Rd to Pedestrian crossing or up to Balwyn Rd (It is quicker to ride up the hill than wait for the very slow pedestrian lights to change)

SWOOP down through Canterbury Gardens and come out onto Chaucer St

L @ Dudley Parade through to end

Cross Myrtle and follow foot track up to East Camberwell Station

Broadway to Stanhope - be careful of traffic at this roundabout.

Continue on short bit of Broadway to

L @ Cookson and through to Burke Rd

R from Burke into Auburn Parade, Mayston or Harold (I like Mayston best)

Get along on North side of Camberwell Rd

Use Pedestrian crossing across Camberwell Rd - head West

L @ Gordon

R @ Roseberry

L @ Munro

R @ Bowler

CROSS AUBURN RD carefully into Urquhart and immediately

L @ The Boulevard

L @ Violet

CROSS Riversdale carefully

Plummet down Kooyongkoot Rd and join the bike path to the city.

[The long scenic route is to go north along Station St (Box Hill) and to follow the Yarra bike path to the city. I can't get out of bed early enough to achieve this!]

Ride well
